$1000 Loan…No Payday?

I am asking for some advice on how to get a $1000 loan. I can’t get that amount with a payday loan on the first time, you have to start with a $200 or $300 and pay that off and they’ll increase it to $400 and so on. It takes 5 times before getting to the thousand. But the pay back is so much and I couldn’t afford to pay it back in a two week period, I’ll be right back where I am. Another thing is, I can’t take in any new debts right now because I’m in a settlement with my creditors, so a traditional loan is out. That leaves an individual or a church or on those lines. I have no family to turn to and I recently moved to a new state for work and haven’t any close friends that I could ask. Prosper.com hasn’t worked, it’s harder than a bank. I want to buy a house. My loan amount is about $150,000.00. I went to TCF Bank and I was offered 3.5% adjustable rate or 5.59% fixed rate. If I’ll take the 3.5% rate my payment on 30-year mortgage is $673.60 a month, when I’ll go with 5.59% that’s $860.24 a month on 30-year mortgage, plus on the 5.59% I have to pay $4,500 finance charge, on the 3.5% there is no finance charge. I wanted to go with 3.5% mortgage, but I heard some bad stories about the adjustable mortgages, like they will skyrocket my interest. One factor – I think I will be able to pay of the mortgage much sooner, like in 15 years, I just want to go with 30 years so my payments are lower, just in case something happens.
